BAFE is the independent third party certification registration body for the fire protection industry. For more than 25 years they have been developing schemes for UKAS accredited certification bodies to assess and approve companies to recognised standards. BAFE is a ‘not for profit’ organisation and their registered companies include manufactures, installers and maintainers of fire protection products – from major international groups to small local businesses – with one thing in common: they have all invested in quality systems and training to achieve their third party certification and BAFE registration, so that you get the benefit of knowing you are dealing with competent people.

NASDU is recognised by all of the security associations, IPSA, BSIA, Skills for Training and the RSPCA and MOD.
Under the Safecontractor scheme, businesses undergo a vetting process which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice. Those companies meeting the high standard are included on a database, which is accessible to registered users only via a website. Many major clients recognise the scheme and accept the Safecontractor certificate as confirmation of competency.

The Fire Industry Association’s main objective is to promote the professional standards of the fire industry through lobbying and close liaison with Government and official bodies as well as other key organisations in the industry. They aim to inform all of their members and the general market about the latest legislation and how it can affect their business. They provide technical knowledge and advice to anyone who needs it regarding fire safety in the UK. They also provide training courses to members and non-members alike on all the latest technical and legislative topics to affect those working with fire safety.
A Chamber of Commerce for Northamptonshire was founded in 1917 in response to the concerns of boot and shoe manufacturers over exports during the first world war. Since then Chamber membership has grown significantly and now represents around 1,000 Northamptonshire businesses – who employ over one third of the county’s workforce. We enjoy the enviable reputation of being the largest business support agency in the county.
